Keke Palmer says that Trey Songz disrespected her. This took place supposedly after she did not give her authorization to be put in a music video.
Keke Palmer is not one to hold back her feelings which was proven when she went on Instagram and accused Trey Songz of putting her in a video without her consent. Keke asks “This is preposterous. How am I in this video Trey?”
The music video she is referring to is entitled “Pick Up the Phone,” which is a remix done by Trey Songz and Fabolous.
According to Keke, Trey Songz used food, sexual intimidation and alcohol to get her to appear in the music video. She claims that she was disrespected when Trey Songz’s production team secretly filmed her. She feels that he tampered with her brand, which took her 14 years to build. She doesn’t understand how this could happen, considering that he has known her since she was 12 years old.
In addition to putting Keke in the music video without her consent, her name was also included in the lyrics. The lyrics are very disrespectful.
Per Keke, “Come on bruh, I clearly said no and you said okay, yet I was being secretly filmed when you told me ‘let me just show you the idea.’ Wow. This is what I’m referring to in my previous post, this is the sexism and misogyny I refer to because if I was a dude, he wouldn’t have even tried me like this.”
As you can see, KeKe Palmer is very hot up under the collar. She is extremely mad that Trey Songz tried to use her likeness and name without her permission.
She went on to tell Trey Songz, “When you in front of a boss you treat them like one, like I treat YOU. NO MEANS NO!!!!!!!”
Keke believes that men must take women seriously and stop treating them like they are stupid. Basically, she is mad and feels violated and disrespected.
