Madonna Slams Haters: ‘To Our Detractors, F*** You!’
Everybody knows that when Madonna takes the mic, it is going to be fantastic! The pop icon did not disappoint when she delivered her Women’s March speech last January 21. Her speech told haters that women will not back down in the world that Trump created. To describe her speech, it was filled with several shots of the F-bomb!
Madonna has a way with words. She has always stamped on her thoughts and opinions on anything she found relevant. The Unites States of America just happens to be one of the most important issues that she and other speakers found significant.
The pop icon took the floor at the Women’s March in Washington, D.C. on January 21. When she did, she delivered a vibrant and powerful speech, addressed to the “detractors” and to Donald Trump.
“Are you ready to shake up the world? Welcome to the revolution of love… To the rebellion, to our refusal as women to accept thus new age of tyranny, where not just women are in danger, but all marginalized people,” Madonna shared to the large audience at the Women’s March.
She then continued by elaborating how Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton was the even that America required to “wake us the f**k up!”
“It seems as though we all slipped into a false sense of comfort, that justice would prevail and that good would prevail in the end… Well, good did not win this election. But good will win in the end. So, what today means is that we are far from the end. Today marks the beginning; the beginning of our story. The revolution starts here,”
Madonna also imparted a special message to the haters who did not understand why the Woman’s March was taking place.
“The detractors that insist that this march will never add up to anything… F**k you!… F**k you! It is the beginning of much-needed change. Change that will require sacrifice, people… But this is the hallmark of revolution,”
That was one way to stick it to those who opposed the march. The outspoken artist led the crowd in a “We Choose to Love” chant. Th chant went on before she performed a set of her famous songs, which included “Human Nature” and “Express Yourself”.
According to Rolling Stone, MSNBC and CNN were forced to cut off their broadcast during the middle of her speech because Madonna dropped too many F-bombs.
