Mandy Moore who currently is seen on the hit NBC Sitcom, This is Us, has experience playing a mother and grandmother on screen. But the 32 year old has a desire in real life that she wants to share with her on screen personality Rebecca Pearson. She wants to be a mother.
This isn’t her first foray in acting either. She has been celebrated with her acting roles in A Walk to Remember, Tangled, and How to Deal.
But that may need to take some time since she is also in the middle of working on a seventh studio album. As a singer she has charmed audience with tracks like, “Candy”, “Cry”, “In My Pocket”, and “I Could Break Your Heart Any Day of the Week”.
That doesn’t mean that she couldn’t work on new music and her hit series while being pregnant. Stars like Kelly Clarkson and P!nk have both produced incredible albums while pregnant with children, and television shows can strategically place an actress while she is pregnant to ensure she continues to have screen time. Of course, there is also the option to write a real life pregnancy into the script.
Moore further opened up about her family and the experiences she had as a child. She has mentioned that her parents were divorced when she was younger. Her father left her mother for another woman at the time. She also knows that the likelihood of having grandchildren for her parents will largely depend on her as both her brothers are gay. She is still very close with her brothers and her parents did an incredible job of raising her and her siblings. Moore continues to deliver high caliber performances and to inspire those who encounter her both on and off the big screen.
