Missing Jennifer Lawrence This Awards Season? Emma Stone Makes Up!

Jennifer Lawrence has become a fixture of glitzy awards ceremonies, and she often steals the show with her candid and often funny interviews, as well as her flawless fashion sense and dress reveals. If you’ve been tracking the awards season this year, then you may have found that Emma Stone totally makes up for the absence of our past favorite.

Stone has some striking similarities to Lawrence, particularly in her demeanor, humor, and dress sense. She’s beautiful and funny, and for many people is the kind of person that you would want to sit down and share a coffee or beer with.

While Jennifer was off working this season, Emma Stone was enjoying the rewards of her success. She won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her work in La La Land. This gave her plenty of time on red carpets, and plenty of interview opportunities. Much in the same way that Lawrence is always willing to digress from the ‘script’ and poke fun at herself or anything else, Stone is also flawlessly goofy and comfortable in front of the camera. She ties everything together with some amazing dresses and perfect hair, so that’s a bonus, too.

Stone even had a comedic mishap of her own this year, which we will all remember as the hilariously misjudged three-way hug. Her, La La Land director Damien Chazelle, and his partner, all went in for the awkward embrace that would be almost cringe worthy if the people involved weren’t so loveable. Whether or not this will top Jennifer Lawrence falling up the stairs for her 2013 Oscar acceptance, is yet to be seen.

Thank you Emma Stone, for giving as an awards season worth watching, despite some of the controversies that surrounded some of the biggest shows. We’re sure Jennifer will be back in the future, but as for now, she has some serious competition in the goofy, loveable, and fashionable actress department.

Most importantly, let’s not forget that both of these amazing actresses are able to be so relatable and humble, while also being at the top of their craft. Bravo!
