Pippa Middleton Gets Married!
Pippa Middleton was all aglow as she walked out of the church after sealing the deal with City financier James Matthews. Pippa, 33, was beaming in her £40,000 white dress by Giles Deacon. The wedding was lavish, to say the least, it came with a price tag of £300,000 and was named the society marriage of the year.
The blushing bride locked lips with her new husband, 41 on the church steps and looked like the picture of happiness.
Kate’s younger sister tied the knot at the church in Englefield, Berkshire and had the reception in a £100.000 marquee in the cherry blossom covered garden of her family home.
The couple drove away from the church in an ultra-rare Jaguar E-type sports car.
There were about 150 guests in attendance, which is a far cry from Kate and Will’s party of 1900 at their extravagant affair at the Westminster Abbey.
Reportedly, Matthews proposed to Pippa while the couple was on holiday in the Lake District. The proposal took Pippa completely “by surprise” because the two had been dating for less than a year.
Tennis star Roger Federer, celebrity Donna Air and Princess Beatrice were some of the guests in attendance, as well as Kate and Will, of course, with their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds had a champagne reception near the church and afterward made the short drive to Pippa’s parent’s home for the reception, where a vintage World War II Spitfire plane buzzed overhead.
